An immersive dance experience for all senses set in 'The Monastery', the XIV century sacred space in Rye.

The show is in collaboration with Alex McArthur Interiors and based on Oscar Wilde’s tragedy 'Salomé'.

S A L O M É

Based on Oscar Wilde’s play, this telling explores the shifting relationships of power between the characters of Salomé, King Herod and Jokannan, focussing on themes of corruption, desire and divinity.

T E N O M E

Performed in-the-round, the show is based on the mythical blind humanoid creatures that see through the palms of the hands. The creatures discover a sensual and mysterious exchange of movement heightening their sense of ‘sight’ through touch.

 

B L O O D   W E D D I N G 

 

The piece explores the dichotomy of a bride who yearns for security, love and happiness with one man but is restless with desire for another. With a soul that is hungry for love and passion, living in a world of enforced conventionalism, her desires lead to her fateful darkness.
